Yesterday, we had the privilege to design Maura and Derek's wedding flowers at
The National Museum of Dance & Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs.
The flowers and decor gave an old Hollywood vintage glam vibe.
Soft and elegant bridesmaids bouquets ready to be loaded for delivery.
I am in love with her lace gown, the brooch detail gave it just the right touch.
Maura is an absolute knock out! This is the only picture I have of her, so although it is a little bleached from my flash, I simply had to share. I am looking forward to getting better pictures of Maura and her bridesmaids by her photographer, Angie Starr, whom was a pleasure to work with.
Close up of a bridesmaid bouquet. The pale colors looked great against the black cocktail dresses.
A very handsome and happy Derek.
I had to watch the beginning of the ceremony officiated by Reverend Joy Burke from the wings. I can not resist watching a groom's face as he sees his bride walking down the aisle. I of course turned into a puddle. No matter how many times I witness this amazing moment in a couple's history, it never gets old, NEVER.
I love how Derek is looking at Maura as they take their first walk as husband and wife. I am getting teary eyed again. What can I say, I am a total sap and feel so fortunate to work with such lovely couples.
Maura and Derek have the cutest rescue Chihuahua named Lou. Is this little figurine a clue? Could they be thinking of getting a Mrs. Lou? I know you couldn't be there in the flesh, but Lou, your Mommy and Daddy missed you yesterday.
I loved all the memorabilia at the museum - the Michael Jackson wing had to be the best - the shoes, the glove chandelier- need I say more?
The sweetheart table waiting for Maura's bouquet.
The centerpieces were designed with ostrich feathers and crystals. This was new for me, but I am so happy with the results. I think they suited the museum's space perfectly.
White hydrangeas, Sahara roses, porcelina spray roses, dark mini callas, and purple sweet peas were used throughout all of the floral decor.
The beautiful linens and catering were provided by Elegant Touch Catering Company. We all worked very well together getting the reception tables put together during the cocktail hour.
Congratulations Maura and Derek!!!!
These are my personal pictures, but be on the look out for Part II of this gorgeous wedding when I receive some pictures taken by their photographer.
