Jocelyn & Conor - The Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake Wedding

Back in September, Jocelyn and Conor celebrated their wedding reception at The Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake (aka - The Crooked Lake House) in Averill Park, NY. I completely adore this couple and had so much fun helping them plan the decor and flowers. I should also mention that the mother of the bride, Cheryl was a pleasure to be in cahoots with! I miss our adventures!

These are just some of the photos that we took of the reception. The personal flowers and ceremony photos are to come soon! I also want to put out a special thank you to Rachel Mercier of Rachel Mercier Flowers in NYC for helping out with this wedding. Rachel is wildly talented - we here at casa de la Splendido consider her family - I look forward to future collaborations! OK onto the show!

The tables were adorned with two different style centerpieces. The first was our signature modern romantic style designed in silver Revere bowls. I love large and lush designs with a hint of reckless abandon.

The second style had tall branches accented by hanging votive candles and smaller arrangements in mercury glass vases. These pictures do not do this justice, just what until you see this place a glow at night!!!!

We used a combination of garden roses, snapdragons, dahlias, ferns, vines, and an assortment of other locally grown goodies. One of the many perks to living in upstate New York is having access to flowers fresh from the garden that are not put through the stress of shipping and handling. I only wish we had a longer growing season!!!!

The staff at the The Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake were wonderful to work with! They were kind, helpful, and so on-top of everything. I wanted to stay at the wedding, such a beautiful unfussy space! Plus, the food smelled amazing!

Thanks to the staff for emailing a few night pictures - now I really want to see the photographers pictures. I want to see more!

The cake was provided by the owner of Make Me A Cake Next Door- who coincidentally had her wedding reception here the following day!!!!

The card table displayed their new monogram on top of a bed of fluffy carnations. I love carnations when they grouped together.

I can not wait to share the images taken by Mitch Wojnarowicz Photography. He is an amazingly down to earth, nice guy with tremendous talent.  He is all about capturing the moments of the day as it unfolds while flying under the radar - a true photojournalist. I could go on and on, but his work speaks for itself!

Congratulations Jocelyn and Conor! We wish you many years of happiness!!!!
