Last month I had the pleasure to design for Carrie and Christian's wedding at The Canfield Casino in Saratoga Springs. The flowers used throughout were soft and classic.
She carried a fluffy bouquet of antique hydrangeas, peonies, and garden roses.
It smelled incredible, is it strange to confess I wanted to eat it? Peonies can illicit craziness - in a good way.
A magic "wand" for the flower girl. I think it is a nice alternative to the traditional petal basket
Corsages, corsages, corsages!
The bridesmaids bouquets were full of garden roses and freesia.
Ceremony chair detail.
Carrie supplied the lanterns used throughout the wedding. I was in love with the local cherry blossoms this year- very local, thanks to my generous neighbor. I love to prune, just saying.......
It is a little hard to see, but they had their engagement photos made into a guest book. I loved this idea.
Centerpieces of antique hydrangea and English David Austin garden roses - the groom is from England so I tried to be as authentic as I could, not sure if anyone but me would know though.
The cake tiers were separated to make room for the lush antique hydrangea.
The Canfield Casino is somewhat unassuming on the outside.
Just a little picture of the van packed and ready to go. A lot of thought and care (dare I say stress????) goes into transport and delivery - a process that is customized for every event.
Congratulations Carrie and Christian! We wish you every happiness in the world. Cheerio!
