Pat's Barn Photoshoot with Genine Gullickson

I was lucky enough to help create a stylized photoshoot with a team of wonderful artists. One of which was Genine Gullickson, whom coordinated this photoshoot. You have seen her work previously. She is the one that helped me look my best in the head-shots and other pictures of me on the various pages of my new website. I tend to be shy and never like photos of myself, but somehow Genine was able to break that barrier! I couldn't have been more excited to work with her on this shoot. FYI - Genine just opened the Clique Studio on State Street in Schenectady.

The Knot - B&B Ranch Wedding Featured!

One of my recent weddings has just been featured in The Knot. Always exciting when all the hours of your hard work are shown in all their glory in professional pictures on a great site!

The B&B Ranch was a fantastic rustic and beautiful location. It was the locations first wedding and besides all the florals, I worked very closely with the bride, Jacqueline, and with Clifton Park Rentals to come up with the design and layout for the reception.

I'll be writing more on this wedding soon, but for now here is a link to The Knot.

These photos are from Leo Timoshuk.

Busy, busy, busy

If you have looked at this blog or my Facebook page recently you would think I have not been doing much lately. Luckily for me, I have been very busy working with some fantastic couples this year! Additionally, we moved one mile. Even though it was only a mile - it was soooooooooooo much work! But so worth it! The family is happier! As they say a happy mommy makes for a happy family. The downside is that between the busy wedding schedule and the move - there has not been much time for social media! I know that makes for 'bored' followers - so hopefully I haven't lost all of you!

I am still in the midst of a busy fall wedding schedule, but thought I would share just a small smidgeon of what I have been up to.

The above are just a few of my personal pictures I took at a couple of the weddings. I have been working with some wonderful photographers and am collecting their pictures to use in my future posts - because let's face it - I do flowers - they do pictures! So as I collect these photos; in time I will get caught up and post about all the weddings I have been lucky enough to be a part of!

The Knot New York Magazine Feature (x's 2)

Hello! Happy February! Yesterday I picked up a copy of The Knot New York magazine, (okay, two copies) because photographer extraordinaire Carmen Santorelli let me know that a bouquet from a collaborative photo shoot was going to be featured. Yay! I flipped the pages quick yesterday at the book store, and spotted it quickly in this nice feature on the color pink. I normally get up before 5am and start my morning workout routine, but decided to postpone it and enjoy the quiet house with my cup of coffee. I picked up the magazine, and began browsing. Oooing and ahhing over every real wedding featured.

Turning the pages, I stumbled upon one that looked familiar - Bianca and Stephen's wedding at the Highlands Club in Garrison!!!!! They are such a beautiful and special couple! I must say, it was a very pleasant surprise!

After I shared it with John, I couldn't help but wake up my sister and parents to share my news. They must really love me, because it was early!!!!!

The stunning photos were taken by another amazing and one of my favorite photographers, Caroline Frost. You can see more of this wedding on my blog, Frost Photography, and Style Me Pretty.
