I just love when everything comes together. Don't get me wrong - I enjoy the process too - well maybe the processing of the flowers I could do without :-) ...but once I start creating the centerpieces and bouquets all the months of planning (in this case 15 months!) - and those final five 12 hour days on my feet getting everything to look just right - is all worth it in the end when I get to see the reaction of one of my fabulous couples!
No more so than for Kristen & Luke! We have been working together since February 2014 planning a beautiful spring 2015 wedding at the historic Hall of Springs in Saratoga. I am always honored when a couple and I agree we are the right fit for each other. I loved, loved, loved designing with Kristen and Luke and got such enjoyment from making their visions come to fruition!
I truly beleive - flowers bring joy to all - old and young alike!
John (aka-Mr Splendid Stems) made these custom flower planters to accept our wedding arch - this way it could be used either outdoors or indoors since rain was in the forecast with less than two hours to go! Thankfully Kristen and Luke ended up with having wonderful weather and the ceremony was held overlooking the reflection pond.
I love the look of these hanging vases along the aisle.
Every little girl needs a flower wand and floral headband
I love how you can tell Luke just saw Kristen for the first time!
Groom's Boutonniere - Gloriosa lily
I always enjoy one of Reverend Joy Burke's ceremonies.
First kiss - yay!
Kristen's bridal bouquet was an elegant, lush and romantic hand-tied bouquet with movement composed of peonies, gloriosa lilies, protea and so many other georgeous florals...I can't give away all my secrets now can I?
The bridemaids carried smaller versions of the bride's bouquet minus one key ingredient
Sure looks like the men were having a good time!...that is until something started chasing them?!?
A "runner" of flowers, greens and candles made for a gorgeous head table
The table centerpieces were low and lush floral arrangements designed in turquoise urns including protea, peonies, ranunculus and more!
I always try to add a little something to make the couple's chairs a little extra special
Special thank you to Niki Rossi Photography for sharing these amazing images!
Also a shout out to Katie O' Wedding & Events and Mazzone Hospitality. As stated above the ceremony location was still up in the air with less than 2 hours to go! Thanks to all the teamwork - you could never tell! Everything looked beautiful!
Kristen and Luke returned to the arch later to take some more pictures - yay!
Congratulations! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
